1. Understand
2. Plan
3. Do/Act

To make the process more meaningful, our TEA Timers outlined each step with illustrations to help them understand and remember them. Here are our top finalists for our classroom poster contest.
Finalist #1: Yumna
Finalist #2: Adrienne
Finalist #3: Cole
Finalist #4: Taressa
Alright friends, we need your help! We need you to vote for your favorites for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place. Who had a thorough explanation? Who included details and examples in their illustrations and explanations? Who seemed to understand the 4 steps? Please leave your votes in a comment below and don't forget to mention what country or US state you are voting from. Our TEA Timers eagerly await your responses!
Hello REACH Rocketeers,
ReplyDeleteThis was a hard choice because all four finalists have provided a remarkable explanation of the process.
1st: Finalist #1: Yumna
2nd: Finalist #4: Taressa
3rd: Finalist #3: Cole
4th: Finalist #2: Adrienne
With the oral explanations all sounding good, I turned to the detail and setting out of the graphics to help me decide. When unsure, I listened again to see how clearly the person could be heard.
I hope this helps.

Thank you all for sharing your posters. While it was difficult to choose, here is my ranking:
ReplyDelete#1 Yumna - I picked Yumna's poster for 1st place because it is not only thorough and detailed, but I thought it best used the genre of poster to give information that was enhanced by picture details. The pictures were colorful, artful, and appealing. The text seemed to be planned, organized, and edited. Well done!
#2 Cole
#3 Taressa
#4 Adrienne

I would have to say that in first place is Cole. I think he did a good job explaining about plan solve and check. I think he was clear to. in second place I would have to say Adrienne. I think he had a good description and he did a well job at explaining and bring clear. In third place I would say Teressa. I think that she did a good job explaining but I think she should be a little louder so I can here her. in last place is Yumma. I think this because I could not here her clearly and I think she should explain a little better but I liked her drawing.
ReplyDeleteWell, if you want to know what I think, here it is:
ReplyDelete1. Cole
2. Adrienne
3. Tariessa
4. Yumma
If my dad were here with me at school, he would say that ALL of you are #1

First, Cole because Cole gave the prison that was woching the video a good explanation of 4 steps the 4th step was the check over your work.2ed would be Yumna because she also gave us a good point. She made the 4 steps and did a problem using the 4 steps. 3rd would be Adrienne, because she told us how to use the 4 steps right. fourth and finel is Taressa, because all she did was tell us the 4 steps she didn't use the 4 steps in a problem.

I think the winner had to be Cole. He gave plenty of details and told exactly what he thought it ment! So, if I would have to choose the winners, they would go like this.
ReplyDelete1.Cole
2.Adrienne
3.Yunma
4.Tariessa

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I hope you don't mind that I share this with my colleagues. While they were a little hard to hear, I think they all did brilliantly. But, if I have to choose, this is what I think -
1st place - Cole. He explained this thought process.
2nd place - Yumna.
3rd place - Adrienne.
4th Taressa.
And here are the final winners. Thanks to everyone who voted via our blog & Twitter!
